sPHENIX discussion of software

Hi folks,

the pp sims are ready to run - it looks like 1000 evts/file are 
reasonable (maybe 2000). The test job needs 6GB so this shouldn't be a 
problem. The only issue is the information we would like to keep in the 
event header. Currently we only copy the heavy ion info (b, rplane 
angle, etc) to the event header. Which would be the fields from the 
HepMC records we would like to keep (with a code snippet how to get them)?

A file with G4Hits running with the current version of the event header 
will show up in about two hours under:
/sphenix/sim/sim01/sphnxpro/MDC1/pythia8_pp/G4Hits/data
