Hi,
yesterday during the dress rehearsal Tom showed a plot of the central
magnetic field where the tracker is located and the argument was that the
field is rather stable there and a detailed mapping may not be necessary. I
took one of the sPHENIX 2D maps and plotted the deviation from the field at
0/0 which is Bz only. The deviations are less that 4% and mainly < 1%. Br is
very low in that region.
