Hi Hanna,

Just a simple idea from my side. I would propose to use VpdOrDefault. This should work fine for energies > 11.5 GeV.
For 11.5 and below this should be checked because I'm not sure about the VPD efficiency.

Cheers,
Grigory

Dear CF Colleagues,

Yesterday during our PWG meeting, we discussed Data production:

As not all group members were connected, I would like to ask you here about group opinion/preference/experience.

The question is about BES-II data production for PicoDst files, whether to use Default or VpdOrDefault vertex selection algorithm?

One can study this with the recent 19.6 GeV calibration production.

Let me know if you have any opinion on this,

Thanks,
Hanna
