Hi Hanwen,
Thanks for the comparison and the detailed replies.
//The Ideal QGP labelled in Slide 17 describes an ideal situation, where the QGP is weakly interacting, i.e. quarks are uncorrelated, and the B-S correlator will remain unity, as proposed in Phys.Rev.Lett. 95 182301, while our measurements, LQCD and FRG calculations actully suggest interactions between quarks in QGP.//
--- QGP has interactions among quarks and gluons. Our current understanding is of a strongly interacting QGP. The correlations you are referring to are about particle production? 'Ideal QGP' might not be the best way to label the expectation, could find a more appropriate label
Best,
Sooraj

Dear Sooraj,Thanks for those valuable questions. I have attached the energy dependence with HRG calculations in this mail. From this plot, we see values from the HRG calculation underestimates the B-S correlator and they are not consistent. It is consistent with the one shown in Slide 4. and is produced by Thermal-FIST, with the following setup:Grande Canonical Ensemble; PDG2020 as the Particle list; All particles are set to be stable; T and baryon chemical potential are parameterized based on the work Phys.Rev.C 73 034905.However, there are many modifications and improvements to HRG model, including to the used ensemble (GCE or CE or SCE), particle list, interactions and so on, which is why I intend not to add my calculations to my talk, as it requires further study. The Ideal QGP labelled in Slide 17 describes an ideal situation, where the QGP is weakly interacting, i.e. quarks are uncorrelated, and the B-S correlator will remain unity, as proposed in Phys.Rev.Lett. 95 182301, while our measurements, LQCD and FRG calculations actully suggest interactions between quarks in QGP.The FRG calculations extend the work in Chin.Phys.C 45, 044112 by introducing more interaction terms from gluons and can describe QGP in a more realistic way comparing to the previous work with low energy effective theory.Toshihiro has analyzed Run11 200 GeV and requested preliminary, but at that time we did not realize embedding data does not consider the branching ratio and we should do this by ourselves. We are doing some cross-checks and only after that we can compare the results with FRG and LQCD calculations.Best regards,Hanwen FengFrom: Sooraj RadhakrishnanDate: 2024-05-12 03:29CC: Hanwen Feng; webmasterSubject: Re: [Star-cf-l] STAR presentation by Hanwen Feng for CPOD 2024 submitted for reviewHi Hanwen,Thanks for preparing these nice slides. I have a question for my own understandingThe energy dependence of the B-S correlator seems similar to that for the hadron gas shown on slide 4. Do you have a comparison of those calculations to the data? What does this mean, that the values are consistent with hadron gas at these energies? On S.17, the comparison to QGP expectation is labelled 'Ideal QGP'. What is meant by ideal here? What deviations from it could affect the B-S correlator? The FRG calculations are consistent at 39 and 64 GeV, what do the calculations include? Do we measurements at 200 GeV, how does it compare to FRG or LQCD calculations?thanks,SoorajOn Thu, May 9, 2024 at 7:37 AM Hanwen Feng via Star-cf-l <star-cf-l AT lists.bnl.gov> wrote:_______________________________________________Dear Nu,Thanks for your suggestions, I have changed the position of legends and texts in Slide 15 and removed the duplicate 2-nd bullets in the summary part.
