Dear Brian (and Yufu)
The followings are comments on your merged talk abstract from conveners.
Best regards, Jiangyong, Prithwish and ShinIchi
---------------------------------------
The conveners think this ABSTRACT IS INCOMPLETE and didn’t follow the merging suggestion. It seems heavily weighted by the content of one abstract. Currently it is heavily based on analyses that were either presented once or never presented.
Change the title:
“STAR Measurements of Reaction Plane Dependent ∆γ and Λ-p Two Particle Correlations from BES II data”
→
“Search for the Chiral Magnetic Effect and Chiral Vortical Effect with BES-II data from STAR”
Mention which energy data will be presented.
The conveners think the current version is not strong enough for an oral presentation. If the PAs want to submit this version we suggest submitting it as a poster. The PAs can try to prepare a stronger abstract. In that case we suggest you put more emphasis on CME at lower energy or the analysis that is more mature. Put more motivation on why this is unique.
Jiangyong
I agree with the above comments that this abstract should reflect the merging request.
I will provide more comments once this is done.
ShinIchi
L6: Does “pi-pi” refer to the main isobar paper results from all other people and “Lambda-p” might refer to your new results presented in the PWG? That is not probably enough to make it clear as other two conveners worry about.
L13: I would cut the long sentence into half before and after the “is near zero” and “the reaction plane”.
