Hi Richard,
Thanks for the question. Although JAM has the option to turn on hydro - depending on the density of the system - I havent utilized that in the results shown in the slides. These are just cascade and meanfield calculations with a given EoS and incompressibility. You are right that for 14 GeV and above we should turn on hydro as the system is in the QGP phase. And this is likely reflected in the fact that the same meanfield EoS cannot simultaneously reproduce both the lower energy and higher energy data. We plan to explore this further, including with turning on the hydro, after QM

Was hydro turned on?
Strictly speaking it should be hydro in the QGP phase and the mean field below, with a transition,  right?
I know you can fake up a phase transition using a mean field. Is that what was done?
Or do I misunderstand?
Thanks

Dear All,

We shall have FCV PWG meeting this WEDNESDAY (23/Aug/2023) at 9:30 AM
EDT. We will be continuing preliminary requests/approvals for
talks/posters that we couldn't finish last week. Our tentative agenda is
at: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/jjiastar/bulkcorr
Please let us know if there are any additional contributions, especially
for QM.

Note that we have already passed the _deadline_ for submitting your QM
talks and posters to FCV. Please upload them to Drupal at the earliest
possible, if you haven't done so.

Zoom details are copied below.

Thanks and regards,
Prithwish, Zhenyu and Subhash
