Hi Zhenyu,
Thanks a lot for the update. It's wonderful news that the inner sensor is now taking data and hopefully things will go smoothly.
However, I would appreciate it if the technicians can elaborate more on their comments, for example Is this deflection observed on both the inner and outer sensors? How did they measure the deflection and how large it is? Is it acceptable for them in the point of view of assembling the sensors?
It would be great to have more information, so we can think about how to improve our assembly procedure. Thanks a lot.

The inner and outer sensors were mounted and wire-bonded on FST03. A comment from the technicians "bias bonds went in but noticed some deflection of the sensor”, which I think is related to the flatness of the hybrid surface.
We have been taking cosmic data with FST Inner sensor and IST staves since Tuesday afternoon at UIC. Xu is taking STAR shifts but has managed to find time to analyze the data but so far so good. Will send out results later.
