Hello Yuan,

Thank you for your final slides.

Slide15:
Ratio of radial profile in central and peripheral consistent with 1 -> Ratio of radial profile in central and peripheral consistent with unity, within uncertainty

[Sorry, we missed this]

With this implemented, I sign off.

Enjoy the conference!

Hi Neil,
Thanks for your nice comments. I'll implement most of them, and can
you provide me some transparent background pdf for slide13-15, just
as right plot on slide 13.
RCP_dR_MultiPlot;RCP_Pt_MultiPlot.pdf;RCP_Pt_MultiPlot can find in
your updated link
look forward to hearing from you

Best regards,
Yuan

Hi Yuan, your slides look great now.

Please consider the following comments below:

Slide 5: _GeV —> _GeV (on the pictures)
Slide 6: The mixed event method can well reproduce the combinatorial
background —> The mixed event method can reproduce the
combinatorial background well.
Slide 8: Isobar —> isobar
Slide 9: Isobar —> isobar
Slide 10: Isobar —> isobar
Slide 10: Significant D0 Raa suppression —> Significant D0 yield
suppression (RAA is a ratio, it shows suppression of yield)
Slide 13: centralz —> central

Best of luck for the talk.

Cheers,

~ Neil

Hi Yuan,

on slide 10: "Theoretical models that include collisional energy
loss are consistent with observed suppression"
I would say "model", as we have one prediction. And in fact at the
range that you're showing now we expect the radiative energy loss to
play a role.
So I would say:
Theoretical model that include collisional and radiative energy loss
are consistent with observed suppression.

Barbara

Hello Yuan

Very nice slides. I have some comments for your considerations:

s4
- remove "QM 2022, Tong Liu" (Your talk is a STAR talk, so you do
not need to cite another STAR talk.)

s5
- PID power -> PID reach

s8
- in the same centrality within uncertainties
- Right figure: change "central" to "0-10%" (if this is true) in the
legend

s9
- with those in Au+Au within uncertainties

s10
- include collisional and radiative energy losses are

s13
- Suppression of D0 meson tagged jet yield -> Hint of D0 tagged jet
suppression
- The reference for LIDO is wrong. It should be: PRC 98 064901. (Fix
this on other slides)

s15
- LIDO model (MPI=off) describes the ratio of radial profile in data

s16
- D0 behaves -> D0 seems to behave
- Suppression of D0 jet yield -> Hint of D0 jet suppression
- LIDO model underpredicts yield suppression in central collisions,
but can describe radial profile ratio between central and peripheral
collisions

s20
- I suggest to replace the right figure with the one for D0 Raa vs.
Npart

Hi Nihar,
Thanks for your the comment. The total number of charm is
conserved. The enhancement of Lambda_c and Ds have been observed in
AuAu collisions. That means more charm quarks are used to form
Lambda_c and Ds, then less charm will be used for D0. This charm
hadronization mechanism is consistent with a suppression of D0 yield
at low pt. But the model doesn't include this charm hadrochemistry.
so now we focus on the high p_T process.

Best regrads,
Yuan

Hello Yuan,

Your current version looks good now.

I have one comment on your slide3 and 10,
Slide 10 figure has theory curves starting from pT > 4 GeV.
Is there any reason for this change? Whereas you have plot with
AuAu
theory curves up to 0 GeV.

Probably I missed this discussion.

Cheers
Nihar

Quark Matter

Dear Yuan,

Thank you for posting your nice slides.
I have following comments on your slides.

No need to make text as red color for your interest.

Slide 3:
_ "A significant energy loss of charm quarks in isobar
collisions?" ->
sounds like you have already know the conclusion.

How about combing last two bullets
"What is the charge quark energy loss and binary collision
scaling in
Isobar collisions?"

Slide4:

_ Title: Charm jets tagged with D^0 mesons -> Simply " D^0
tagged jet
in heavy-ion collisions"

_ Definition of Z; please check with what Diptanil has used in
his
poster. Use the same notations.

_ "A significant suppression of D0 tagged jet yield with lower
D0
kinematics at RHIC energies? " -> Remove this bullet. Not
needed to
say
anything.

_ Make "radial distribution of the D^0" expression a bit
bigger and
move
it up so that people can see from distance.

Slide5:
"A diffusion of charm quarks at lower pT in Au+Au collisions
at sNN =
200 GeV?" -> It is not clear where do you get it. I think it
is not
needed. Just go to your results in 15min talk. In QM, people
want to
see
the results assuming they are aware of motivation.

_"Contribution from the underlying background is small at
RHIC" This
is
not absolutely correct. And not clear what underlying
background you
are
talking. So better to remove or rephrase this.

_In this slide important is to highlight the kienematic range
of D^0
that you are going to show: 1 - 10 GeV/c; That you mentioned
at the
bottom that no one will notice. Make it bigger and highlight
somewhere
up.

Slide7:
combination background -> combinatoric background

Slide8:
_Suggestion: Less wording is better. Try to clean it up and
make a
concise phrase or sentence
_ VS -> vs [and elsewhere]

You can bring slide4 and 5 before Slide12, so that you can
tell people
what you are going to tell next.
Make 1-10 GeV/c kinematic slide in bold text on each slides.

Slide12:
I hope you will speak a sentence on "LIDO" comparison .

Cheers
Nihar
