Hi All, 

Following up from our discussion during the last meeting, I talked with Joe Osborn who was one of the PAs of the LHCb Z+jet FF paper https://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.123.232001 and he actually pointed me to their supplemental material linked in the pdf below that details their PYTHIA 8 tune.

The LHCb tune also has different values for the two parameters (ecmPow and expPow) that we are currently tuning and they use a significantly higher value for both.  

MultipartonInteractions:pT0Ref = 2.88

MultipartonInteractions:ecmPow = 0.238 

There are additional interesting parameters related to the strings which we have not touched so far…
