I realized today from Tonko's emails that this RDO issue could be more 
serious i.e. that if 8-3 is not enabled due to the busy's also 8-6 would 
have to be disabled. As the STGC is scheduled to be pushed into the 
poletip on Friday, the last chance for a decision regarding opening the 
poletip is really this week. So two points to consider:
i) Is the any clue what is wrong? Please have checked by tomorrow if it 
is, or not the PC interface
ii)Culd opening again possible resolve the issue? It seems clear that 
power is onto the board?
iii) Gene, what is an estimated loss of efficiency for tracks in sector 
8 with these two RDOs out? We ned some estimate on the loss of physics f 
this is not resolved.
