== Hardware

— Alexei came in from vacation to work on east laser problem

— not visible on CCTV

— fixed and running okay so far

— monitoring gas system to maintain 5.5 cm/us drift velocity

— looking for weak point in flow meters

— should be okay though windy weather coming in this evening

— problems come with large storm fronts and sharp pressure drops

— have had several anode trips due to beam drop

—  Tonko working hard each day to recover RDOs

— Jim asked about cathode field cage currents

— will be checked

== Electronics

— Status with electronics is as usual with few losses of 1-2 per day. 

— There are some runs where large deadtimes show up because of intermittent FEE failures. 

— This is being investigated.

== Software

— dE/dx calibration for low-lumi Run 24 p+p

— looking at some strange time dependencies

— finishing up GMT geometry

— will freeze in next few days

— was a request to check effect of FST dead material on URQMD 4.5 GeV analyses

— generated 0.5 Mevts geometry 21 and 0.5 Mevts with geometry 25

— results are being analyzed 

— currently see bump and dip in TPC drift velocity

— seems to be coming back to expected value

— but some runs have failed (too few lasers), investigating

== AOB

— Alexei returns Monday

— will prepare to fix laser for next week’s Wednesday access
