We are supposed to end by Friday lunch time.

Unless mgmt asks otherwise, I will probably put you
first on Thursday, after a L2 overview I will prepare.
Since the preFDR did not happen in the end, we will
treat your L3 more or less like the others, so I will
likely stick to the usual order, expecting to cover
all NSF on Thurs. and then DOE on Friday morning (but
we will see how it goes).

Hi John,
Thanks for asking. Thursday I'd prefer earlier, but I'll do any time (I assume we're talking 8am - 5pm  EDT). Friday Nan is visiting CERN so I may run out at some point for an hour. Also 10am-11am EDT I have a meeting. If I can avoid Friday afternoon that would be great, but I can be available. Best, Tim

I will get one set up, probably only wed. or so. What time
constraints do you have for Thursday Friday?

Hi John,
Also, is there an indico page with a schedule for Thursday/Friday?
Thanks. Best, Tim

Hi John,

Welcome back! I'll post a slightly updated version of my
preFDR talk later today. I think that is approximately what we
need, but maybe should add a 1 slide "diff report" to the
front. One question, for updated costs I haven't gotten my new
numbers in for lpGBT, VL+ and ADC (also waiting on a QuikPak
for an updated quote, which is unexpectedly taking a long
time. have iterated with them several times...). Will we put
that in the RLS this week?

best, Tim

Hello all,

We will meet this week in our usual
timeslot of Tuesday at 1 pm NY time.
I have created an agenda page at
https://indico.bnl.gov/event/5917/.
The man topic will be the status
of preparations for the Scrubbing at
BNL on Thurs.+Fri. this week.
In addition to the usual materials
(RLS, BOE, ...) needed for each review,
each L3 should prepare some introductory
slides for the Scrubbing that cover
the following topics:

- very brief overview of deliverables
and institutions involved (just to remind
people what the L3 is about)

- brief technical status, emphasizing
progress since last review and upcoming
major steps (eg. milestones) over next
~ 9 - 12 months

- for NSF, description of boundary
between preMREFC and MFREC

- summary of changes implemented to RLS
since previous review (discuss separately
those covered by an approved BCP and those
implemented in the current RLS but not
yet approved)

- summary of changes still needed to
be implemented in RLS, if any.  (particularly
relevent for BE and Syst. Integ., but others
can point out here if they have realized
any changes still needed)

- updates M&S costs, due to updating quotes

- status of Risk register, and any changes
since last review either implemented or
needed

Start working right away on these
slides, which will be important to organize and
steer the discussion at the Scrubbing.  It is
particularly important to present coherently
the changes that still need to be made.  As
soon as you have even a partial draft of the
slides, post them to the indico page above,
so that we can iterate together and try achieve
some consistency across L3s.

     Talk to you tomorrow.`

     Regards,
             John
