Dear DOE L2 Managers,

We need to prepare draft QA/QC documents for the upcoming Director's 
Review. We will create one such document for each deliverable (or for 
each L4 item if a deliverable consists of several independent items). At 
this stage in the project, these documents will be quite brief (1-2 
pages) and won't yet contain a lot of specific detail. They should 
indicate though that we're thinking appropriately about integrating the 
Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes into our project 
planning and execution. These will be fleshed out as we move forward, 
and especially toward a baseline.

Please ask your L3s (or L4s) to produce drafts of these documents to be 
discussed during Upgrade Week. Aim to have first versions for discussion 
ready by *Tuesday, April 9*.
