Dear L2s and Deputy L2s,
Apologies, I accidentally sent this to the DOE list instead of NSF and DOE. I've copied the message below again; apologies if you're getting this twice!
As discussed at the March 15^th CCB meeting, we'd like to have a quarterly *NSF risk review*, which we propose to hold during the CCB meeting time slot on*Tuesday, April 12^th *. As these reviews are becoming more streamlined, we think we can cover all systems in one meeting (10 min per subsystem). The agenda page is here:
https://indico.bnl.gov/event/15288/ <https://indico.bnl.gov/event/15288/>
I've uploaded the Risk Register Pointer slides from March 15^th in case it's helpful to reference them when putting together your slides. As usual, please*prepare a few slides of your own*covering:
* Changes in risks since the last risk review
* Updated tasks affected (to make sure it is something in the future)
as well as clear descriptions of what to do in case of multiple
tasks affected (rare)
* Updated comments to clearly describe cost/duration uncertainties
* Potential changes to risks in the next 3 months, e.g.
*
o changes to probability/impact of existing risks
o existing risks that could be realized or that need to be watched
carefully
o introduction of new risks, or even just speaking to the things
that are worrying you these days
o risks that might be retired
* This is also an opportunity for general housekeeping of the RR, e.g.
updating anticipated risk retirement dates
The risk register in docDB has been updated to v68:

For the *DOE folks*, we will be in touch about your risk review very soon.
Any issues, please let us know.
