we recommend that you add your proxy file to the transfer_input_files list and in the shell that gets executed at the worker node you add line:

export X509_USER_PROXY=x509up_uXXXXX

If you have a valid usercert and userkey pair in your ~/.globus directory, this should happen automatically when you xrdcp, assuming XRootD has been set up from ALRB.
