Dear All,

I gave the document another read. Most comments I had were covered by the content of the ‘modifications.txt’ document but I had two smaller but more global comments which I don’t think are covered by it yet.

1) in the physics motivation, I was wondering if Bernd would like to add more meat with his low Q2 studies.

2) The appendix A and probably also B might be better off in the detector design section (after some streamlining),

A small point I tripped over: the comment about the strong dependence of dn/dLambda below 300nm: Isn’t one of the main reasons for the filter etc. the much increased Raleigh scattering in the aerogel below 300 nm?

Currently, the project is a 1-to-1 copy of the CDR (modulo the reformatted title page) with text and figures for each section stored in their respective directories in ‘master’. On the top level, you will find a file called ‘modifications.txt’ that contains an initial list of things which need to be modified to prepare the document for publication, along with the names of those who should spearhead each change and some instructions. We ask that everyone look through this file and if you see your name, make the modifications stated in the manner you see fit. If there are multiple people listed, please coordinate amongst yourselves on how to make the modifications. If you have any questions, don’t think a request for change is appropriate, or you feel there should be a change which is not listed, please contact Brian (bpage AT bnl.gov).

 

If your name does not appear, but you contributed some text to the CDR, we ask that you read through your contribution to confirm there are no errors and what is written is up to date.

 

As we would like to have the manuscript in place by ~July, we ask that everyone begin their edits (especially those which may take some time/iteration) as soon as possible.
