The main objection agains the ScFI tracker is no new technologies anymore we need to converge, CD-3A is in November.

Nikolai, one objection against a SciFi tracker may be the required channel count in order to get the same spatial resolution as a typical 1D MPGD can achieve. Although for pattern recognition purposes one may want to use a very fine pitch (and a 2+1D redundancy) anyway.
