I really appreciate the discussion and yes let’s take it up tomorrow. My take on it thus far:
the leadership team is a leadership team, keep it that way, mixing in a liaison function doesn’t work
Doug is already helping the liaison cause through coffees, discussion, interest etc.
Keep in mind the notion of ad-hoc meetings, called/led by us, with SDCC representation. Such meetings may fit perfectly well within the tech meeting plan we’ve established. Particular topical meetings will have facility aspects, so we invite SDCC.
Hello Paul,
I am not sure it is a good idea to have Doug as meetings (co)Chair. I would suggest we will wait a bit. We can discuss it tomorrow at the mgmt meeting
Cheers, Alexei

My issues with communication with SDCC have been trying to understand what they want so that we can identify the 80% win-win topics and focus on them. I have a feeling that the 20% difficult topics take up far more strategic time than they should, while the 80% is practically ignored for lack of communication.
