Hi Oliver,

Thanks for circulating your draft poster. Please consider some additional comments from me below.

The figure you show under “Introduction” is by now quite old - I think it appeared around the 2015 Town Hall / LRP process - and the particular choice of channels / kinematic ranges may well need an update. (It also lists “RHIC tomorrow” - i.e. implicitly including STAR, and not just sPHENIX.) I actually think you do not need it at all - the useful overlap with LHC experiments is demonstrated nicely by your Large-R jet RAA and jet v_2 projection plots, which are much more recent.

Under “Calorimeter jets with sPHENIX”, the default reconstruction (shown here) is just with calorimeter towers - without 3-D topoClustering. We are still developing that capability in Au+Au. You might also consider saying “EM-scale jets” rather than “uncalibrated jets”. The EM scale is a perfectly well-calibrated one, and that’s what was used in the simulations for the plots above.

For the 3-D rendering of sPHENIX, Ejiro had a nice suggestion for one of the newer ones. There are actually a few  versions in that style maintained by Dave Morrison here: https://bnlbox.sdcc.bnl.gov/index.php/s/tDHkYzzETHfaLJE - see if you like one of those

By the way, do you want to consider adding some photos of the calorimeters themselves, either the construction or installation?

Dear Colleagues,

I will bring a poster to the Initial Stages 2023 conference (June
19-23).
I attached the draft version of the poster to this mail.
Let me know if you have any comments by June 14, so I will have time to
print the final poster.

Best regards,
Oliver
