Hi Gerard,

I'll assume the references to 20 gauges pins for the Inner Cable PP end
connector in the IST documents are just an artifact of earlier plans.

The PP board connector is D44F

IST documents can be found on Zhenyu's IST document Page:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/yezhenyu/forward-silicon-tracker-ist

Zhenyu's also has a FST documents page:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/yezhenyu/2018/11

Hi Steve,
Can you remind me what is that mating connector on the board? Is it
D37F? I'd suggest for test cables (at least) we can find some quality D
connector from Conec at Digikey or Mouser easier and cheaper than Positronics
one. Is the IST patchpanel schematic and BOM posted someplace on drupal?
Maybe we should start an "FST drawings" page where everything can be posted
in its most current version for useful reference, right now I have to dig
through the email trails it is potentially error-prone.
As to the wire guage I think we determined that 22 AWG was needed for
the power wires (for IST; could be smaller for FST) and we thought that 28
AWG was small enough for the other wires.
I'll look for some off-the-shelf easily available cables to use for
the test setup, as promised.

Gerard
