Just an addition after talking with Jason this afternoon. He made corretions to the current geometry for FST such that the geometry (simplified) can be used for
forward tracking issues. See the presentation at the S&C meeting this afternoon at 4pm (event page). So studies should not be held up by our end of geometry not
completed for such studies.

1. Hybrids - Jianing
Orders are placed. Expect to receive the new hybrids from both vendors on 12/25/2019. Will send them (and the two extra connectors for hybrids) to Yi upon receiving them

2. T-board and Inner signal cables - Mike/Jianing
We discussed whether or not to make v3 T-boards or stay with v2.1 T-boards with modifications. The former will cost $2093 for 10 boards, with a 10-day delivery time. We also discussed the options for making the cables for prototype module testing, using the old test cables or the new purple cables. The former will cost $1350 (to solder cables onto the T-board), and the latter will cost ~$3700 (to solder cables onto the T-board, and the connectors on the other ends).

If the extra cost for BNL is not an issue, using v3 T-board and new purple cables is the preferred option. It should also meet the requirement of getting cables ready by the end of January 2020. We will check with Elke for the cost, and ask Gerard to review v3 T-board layout.

3. Mechanical structures (private communication with Yi after the meeting)
New prototype structures should arrive next Monday/Tuesday. The vendor will test them today (Friday).
Han-Sheng had the new design drawing for the storage box as you suggested. Will send the drawings by email.
The design of gluing jig is almost done.

4. Module assembly at Fermilab - Zhenyu
In progress to make the assembly fixture and tooling

5. Simulation - Flemming, Te-Chuan
It seems that there was a communication issue. The FST geometry in DEV that Jason got from Daniel was an old version made by Te-Chuan, before Te-Chuan fixed the issue of missing outer section. Flemming looked at the (old) FST geometry in DEV and discovered a few problems, which explains why hits are missing for the outer section with this geometry.

Moving forward, Te-Chuan snd Flemming will 1) add the cooling tube fixture 2) add holes (for heat sinks) to the structures 3) make sure the latest SolidWorks drawing for module design from Han-Sheng/Yi is used for GEANT modeling 4) check the supporting cone dimension/position. They will also try to understand what changes that Jason had to make for the old geometry, and make these changes ourselves to the current geometry before handing the new geometry over to Jason.
