Hi Felix,
I would merely add that we should hope to determine a length which fits but without too much excess cable. What excess there is, would have to be taken up in the lay of the cable outside the cone assebly as it plugs into the patchpanel board assembly. We should locate some pictures of the installed & cabled IST patchpanel boards for your reference. It should look similar.
Sincerely,

Gerard

Hey Felix,

I've attached the cable drawing for the purple cables we had assembled. They were
8' long, +/- 1", from connector to the wires on the t-board.

Hi Felix,

To follow up on your question on the (purple) inner signal cable and T-board,
a picture can be found on slide 4 of the following slides
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/FstModule3InnerSector.pdf
I hope it gives an idea the orientation of the cable/T-board.

About the cable length, if I remember it correctly we had a rough estimate
from Rahul, and Mike used it to build the prototype purple cables. I think a
precise estimation is still needed, which I guess you will get from looking
at the integration drawings.

Best,
Zhenyu
