My bad - I just assumed it'd be packaged or epoxy encapsulated.
Flemming - I followed up with John Hammond - We don't have a thermal imaging
camera in the electronics group, but we've borrowed one from ATLAS in the
past, if you wanted to see about that avenue.

The APV chips we use are bare dies, not packaged. We can't tape anything to
them.
