Let me chime in too.

The number of times that cable are connected/disconnected has to be 
minimized.
Of course for the production it has to be done 2 (3) times - for the apv 
testing and after inner /outer
sensors mounting. So why not have one 'special box (w/o walls)  for 
holding a modules during this mounting, and testing, and put it back in 
regular transport box for moving back/forth techs and storage.
I think this will reduce the overall risks.
