Thank you for the feedback! I have implemented your suggestions in the version linked to below, and have a few responses in-lined below as well.

That's a good point! If I have some time, I'll experiment with some other ways of representing this, but -- given the late hour -- I may not have the time...

In my implementation, I left out "first" because I don't think that's quite true... As has been pointed out, STAR has observed medium-induced broadening before (c.f. Alice Ohlson's jet-hadron correlations).
