Hi Barbara,
Thanks for preparing this nice abstract. Please find some
comments from me below.

L4: I think at this point we can state, 'Ultra relativistic
heavy-ion collisions create a dense and ...'
L8: A suggestion, may be the open heavy flavor part on L13 goes
better immediately after 'probing the whole medium evolution'.
Quarkonia probing the color screening and thermodynamic properties
could come after as a separate point.
L10: effect --> mechanism, which causes the quarkonia bound states
to dissociate in the QGP,
L19: J/Psi production --> J/Psi suppression?

L21: results on --> measurements of?

L23: the part staring 'that conclude ...' can be removed
L27: D0 tagged jets and their radial profiles
L29: by STAR will be discussed

thanks
Sooraj

Hello Barbara,

Thank you for implementing my last comments.
Please find my additional comments below.

LIne#4: "In ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions creation a
dense and
hot medium … is expected." -> "In ultra-relativistic heavy-ion
collisions, a dense and hot medium… is created."

Line#5: "…a dense and hot medium with partonic degrees of
freedom,
called the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP),…" -> "…a dense and hot
Quantum
Chromodynamics medium with the color degrees of freedom, called
the
Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP), …" (Here "dense and hot medium" is the
QCD
medium; you mean "color degrees of freedom" here).

Line#12: "…not only…, but help…,respectively." -> The syntax
of this
sentence needs a bit of improvement. Suggestion: use "and" with
",respectively." in this sentence. Otherwise, use "not
only…but…"
without "respectively" here.

Nihar

Hello Barbara,

Please find my comments on your nice abstract on HF
measurements.

1_ "…the early stage of heavy-ion ultra-relativistic
heavy-ion
collisions…" -> "the early stage of ultra-relativistic
heavy-ion
collisions…"
(Here "ultra" is optional you may consider to drop it)
2_ "..the whole medium evolution" -> AT this point you have not
introduced yet what is this medium (that is QGP). Hence you may
need
to
introduce the QGP medium before.
3_ "Therefore, …the properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma
(QGP)
produced
in these collisions. Please try to introduce QGP before and
then 2_
should come next.
4_ "Quarkonium studies in p + p and p+Au collisions provide us
not
only
with the necessary baseline for Au+Au collisions, but help to
understand
the quarkonium production mechanisms and the cold nuclear
matter
effects, respectively.
" -> "On the other hand, the quarkonium measurements in p + p
and
p+Au
collisions not only help to understand their production
mechanisms
and
the cold nuclear matter effects but also set the necessary
baseline
for
Au+Au collisions.
5_ "…production provide us information on transport
properties…"
->
"…production provide information on the transport
properties…"
6_"… degree of the heavy quark thermalization and the
hadronization
mechanism." -> "the degree of the heavy quark thermalization,
and
the
hadronization mechanism."
7_ "We will show measurements of the J/ψ suppression and
elliptic
flow
in isobar (Ru+Ru and Zr+Zr) collisions at √sNN = 200 GeV and
studies of
system size and energy dependence of the J/ψ production." -> I
would
prefer to rephrase the sentence something like "The system
size and

energy dependence of the J/ψ production, and its suppression
and
elliptic flow in isobar (Ru+Ru and Zr+Zr) collisions at √sNN
= 200
GeV
will be discussed."
(Just to avoid "we will" again)
8_ "…D_S and Λ_C…" -> " …D_S, and Λ_C…"
9_ cross section -> cross-section
10_ "…will be also reported." -> "…will also be reported."
11_"We will also present the first measurements of…" -> "The
first

measurements of…200 GeV will be presented."
12_ At the end you may consider to include STAR's plan for
heavy-flavor
measurement in upcoming (Run23-25) data taking. something like
"Finally, I plan to shed light on the future data-taking plan
for
precision and their kinematic coverage of heavy flavor
measurements
in
the STAR experiment."

Nihar
