Hello Monika

In the interest of time, here are my comments to your nice proceedings. 

l12: hadronize -> hadronization

l16: help us understand

l19: based on the following SoftDrop condition:

l21: remove "The left part ... by a cut"

l29: splitting -> substructure

l29: split -> splits

l41: remove "of" after "weighting"

l43: In Fig. 1 are shown -> Figure 1 shows

l45: a strong dependence of z_g on R_g and only a mild dependence 

l50: split -> splits

l50: Data are -> The data sample is

l59: for R = 0.4 jets in two different p_T,jet bins are

l61: We observe that the splitting becomes harder and more collinear with increasing split number.
l63: small -> mild

l65: remove "distribution"

l66: split, and z_g and R_g

l66: split -> splits

l67: at the small R_g -> with small R_g

Hi Monika,

very nice proceedings. I have only minor comments and sign off. 

L12-13: hadronizing -> hadronize

L13-14: we can define them -> can be defined

L18: technique -> techniques

L24: and reduces -> that reduces

L34:  for finite ->  for the finite

L41: projection -> projections

L43: I would add here that these distributions are for R = 0.4 jets.

L60: different split -> different split  and bands around the data points represent systematic uncertainties. 

Add information on jet R - also in the Fig. 2 caption. 

L67: In the upcoming publications we would like to include other -> We plan to extend our studies to other 

L68: substructure observables correlation -> correlations of substructure observables (?)

Hi Monika,

Thanks a lot for the well-written proceedings. 

I only have some very minor comments for your consideration: 

  - Eq.1: I understand that "beta" and "z_cut" are just free parameters, but I am wondering if you can elaborate a bit more on the meaning of this equation. The left part of the less-than symbol is the ratio of momentum and the right part of the less-than symbol is the ratio of jet resolution multiplied by a cut. 

  - L30: in [5] --> in. Ref. [5] 

  - L34: Add a reference for "Iterative Bayesian unfolding"?

  - L47: the same as in Sec. 2 --> the same as described in Sec. 2

  - L63: can observe --> observe

  - L74: Ref 4 looks a bit strange, why does it split into two lines?
