Hi Diptanil,

Thank you for this abstract.

I am a bit inclined towards what Barbara is pointing out.
and have also a little concern about the procedure that you just discussed at collaboration meeting, we need more discussion on it.
We now knew that our QM2022 STAR preliminary results on D0+jet will(have) change(d) based on your collaboration presentation.

Are you confident enough to show new FF on D^0+jet?
Please let us know.

Cheers
Nihar

Hi Neil,

nice abstract.
I have however a doubt if it makes sense to have an abstract
specifically on the fragmentation function.
I would propose to submit an abstract on D0-jets where you specify the
new fragmentation function measurement - in fact, to be precise, it's
z momentum fraction measurement that can be connected to FF, not
really FF.
The reasons are as follows.
First, it's safer, as we still don't have all the corrections
reviewed, etc. so we don't know if something unexpected won't pop up
(it's a first z measurement in HI).
Second, the talk anyway would consist only of one topic, so I think
there is no reason not to also show the preliminaries that we already
have. If we have, we will show the corrected z, but we cannot say much
about physics implications as we don't have neither pp reference nor
any model calculation.

And a question on the current abstract:
- L17-19: "Such flavor differential measurements ..." - I'm not sure
if I understand what flavor differential measurements you mean here,
you mention only z for D0 jets in the previous sentence.

Cheers,
Barbara

Hi Neil,

Thanks a lot for the nice abstract. I only have some minor comments
for your consideration.
- L1: heavy ion -> heavy-ion
- L9: quenching -> jet quenching
- L10: LHC -> the LHC
- L16: I would remove "of radius R = 0.4" since I don't think it is
that important in the abstract, but it is up to you.

Cheers,
Yi
