L1: (charm (c) and bottom (b)), -> better to avoid this style
parenthesis usage
L7: (z = pT,hadron/pT,jet) -> ($z$ = $p_{\rm T,hadron}$/$p_{\rm T,jet})

jets." Drop this sentence; not adding anything but it devalues the
STAR's attempt as standalone.

Drop rest, not needed
