Hi Priyanka,

Please find below a few comments on your nice proceedings.

- L13: D0 − π  -> D0 /D0bar − π± (same for the other cases)
- L19: heavy-ion collisions -> heavy-ion collisions by heavy quarks
- L24: I don't understand the following in the given context "are valuable for observing how heavy quarks interact with medium"
- L27: replicate -> describe
- L29: must be measured -> are of particular interest
- L40: eq. -> Eq.
- L44: centrality range -> centrality range as the same-event pairs
- L52: Figure 1 -> Fig. 1
- L52: mass -> mass distributions
- L55-56: You define here 'S' and 'B ', however you already use 'S/B' in the previous sentence. Please reshuffle so that the definition is first.
- L56: It might not be clear why you quote purity only in the last pT bins. In purity in the lower bins, lower, higher ? This won't be obvious for many readers.
- L64: D0 signal background -> background under the D0 peak
- L64: "reduce contamination of the identified hadron sample with π, K, p and e" - this might also not be clear, as you want to identify π, K, p. You need to explain a bit better
- L70: hadrons -> hadrons and electrons
- 80: with -> within
- L81: hovers around unity -> is consistent with unity
- L82: remove "likely due to insufficient data"
- L88: remove "analysis"
- Figure 2 caption: reference models -> NLO + HMChPT model
of 5 fm and 2 fm -> of 2 fm and 5 fm

Cheers,
Barbara

Hello Priyanka,

Due to HP2024 preparation, I am a bit late reading your proceedings.
I will send my comments soon. Do you know when is the deadline?

Best
Nihar
