Hi Geary:
I checked the issue you asked about during yesterday's QA meeting.
The low number of TOF events was noted as QA issue 17052 and was
only applied to one run, 22117048. This issue referred to eTOF and was caused
by a low number of eTOF minbias triggers, about 1/10-th of the minbias
total. The QA issue web page only allows a generic "TOF" identifier which
covers both tof subsystems.

Hi all,
I just uploaded my slides today with all the bad runs categorized and matched to shift log entries. As usual some of the runs didn't have any correspondence in the shift log, and are probably false alarms. Please take a look and advise.

Hello all,
After the discussion we had this morning regarding the jumps in the mean run dE/dx I made a plot of the mean event dE/dx vs time as Flemming requested. I put together a few slides on this and uploaded them to today's meeting on Drupal. You can also find the slides here: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/High_dEdx_Investigation.pdf
It seems like the mean (event) dE/dx does start high and decrease back toward the nominal value over the course of this single run. There are fewer statistics for these later times though so it is hard to say for certain exactly what is happening.

Hi,
We will have our Run21 QA meeting tomorrow (Friday) at noon (EST).
=> I would like to ask the PWG delegates to start preparing separate set of slides that combine past reports and give a summary in terms of proposed good/bad event selection criteria, and associated total event statistics. Tomorrow might be bit too early, but it would be good to have by next week.
Meeting details, including the Zoom link can be found at the following event link:
