STAR task force for tuning PYTHIA

Hi all,

In today’s meeting we discussed a tentative proposal on how to proceed. The 
plan would be to perform the PYTHIA 8 tuning on RHIC data using the 
Professor/Apprentice package pointed to by Raghav/Christian in previous 
messages. This would require some effort to write the corresponding RIVET 
analyses. If there are any objections/comments please let me know. 

In the meantime I will soon send out a link to a Drupal page of which we can 
compile meeting info/resources, etc., and a tentative list of observables (of 
which anyone can add to).

Let us meet next week at the same time.
