Hello all,

The LAr scrubbing over the past 1.5 days was
very useful. I want first to thank everyone who worked
so hard to get ready for the scrubbing, and those that
participated in the scrubbing.
We know we currently have some issues in
the RLS that need to be fixed. While pointing that out,
the PO summary in their closeout slides (which have been
uploaded to the agenda page, https://indico.bnl.gov/event/5934/)
was overall very supportive. Also uploaded to the agenda
page (at the top) is Mike Tuts' version of the Scrubbing Report
spreadsheet, annotated with his questions and comments; each
L3 should go over their section carefully.
The closeout summarizes the next steps, as we ramp
up toward the next reviews. The DOE RLS was originally supposed
to be frozen today to take a snapshot, but we are asked
to put in Hao's changes asap on System Integration and Hong's M&S
cost updates on PA/S. Note that we have permission now to
work in parallel on DOE and NSF scope in the RLS, which is
very helpful!
For the NSF, the highest priority is getting in the
fixes that we believe will resolve the budget problem we
currently have with U Az. Fixing the rates will be done
by the PO, but Kj you should prepare the labor hour
changes that you have identified, and be ready to get those
put in once we have Heidi back. Other NSF priorities
are putting in the updated M&S costs, and John H. has
some labor reductions for SBU.

Heidi is on vacation this week, so we are
waiting to see when we will have access to P6. In the
closeout, they hoped all could be in by next Tuesday (!!), so
this is all viewed as VERY urgent. However, Heidi gets
back on Wed. it turns out, so it seems it will take a few
days longer, but EVERYONE needs to be ready to go once
we get access to P6. I believe the best way to prepare is
to take the 20190314 version of the Scrubbing Report (from
the scrubbing agenda page), and annotate there using colors
the changes needed. Apart from Hao, who has schedule changes
to implement, most if not all of our remaining changes are
to resources; they are likely best annotated using the
last worksheet (called "Resource Detail") in the Scrubbing
Report. Each task is listed there, with its resource types
(eg. M&S costs or hours for each of the various labor categories)
listed SEPARATELY on multiple lines, one line per resource
type. You could highlight any resource needing change in
some color, and put the new value in a column next to the
existing value. Providing this to Heidi should provide an
unambiguous record of the changes to be made, and hopefully
minimize the injection of new bugs!

As always, let me know any questions, etc.
Regards,
John
