Hi all,

        As you can see from the attached close-out report,
we just concluded a very successful 3-day DOE review!
Congratulations in particular to Hong and Hao for their
excellent preparations and presentations.

        With no rest for the weary, we move on now to
finalizing the documents needed for the upcoming
NSF FDR DR (July 29-31 at Columbia) and FDR (Sept. 11-13
at NSF headquarters outside DC).  Having successfully
navigated the LAr DOE scope through the latest review,
we need now to do the same on the NSF side.

Attached, please find the closeout report from this week’s DOE IPR/CD-3a 
review.  We will have the final report in hand by early next week – I’d 
suggest you wait for that for any broader distribution.  In the 
meantime, you can share this in more limited form – to institution 
principals or principal ATLAS colleagues -- as you see fit.

Our congratulations to all on a very strong and positive review – and 
thank you for your efforts that made this week such a success --
