Hi John,

                Thanks for the comments.

                See reply below.

I will update the slides in docdb after I get the new photo of the test setup, and the distributions from robotic tests.

                Best,

                Hong.

Hi Hong,

Thanks for posting the draft slides, which are very good.  I give some
comments and suggestions below.

        Regards,
                John

p. 6 – the bottom line is BNL needs to test ~40k ASICs. That msg is a
bit overwritten by your last bullet ending in 55188 spares. Maybe stress
the 40k number at BNL instead?

It is meant to explain how Spares are calculated through the “*”.

I added a bullet anyway :

~80k ASICs will be produced, and ~40k will be tested at BNL
p. 7 – could go in backup?

Sure

p. 9 – maybe add a bullet (in a different color for emphasis) stressing
that you have received ALL the packaged production chips

Added a sub-bullet

p. 10 – ‘More recently, the system has been integrated with the robotic
system developed by IJCLab

Done
    - not sure why photo stresses “RF switches”??  Could label more (eg.
test socket)?

The text came with the photo. I need to get a new photo.

p. 11 – add bullet saying that we are following ATLAS requirements (eg.
doing 11 per lot), since otherwise numbers seem a bit arbitrary
   - in last bullet, “pass” should be “passed”
   - add final bullet saying “Radiation qualification of production
ASICs complete”

Done
p. 12  – some problems with formatting (at least in my pdf viewer)

Cleaned up.

p. 13 – “except for the electromagnetic interference (EMI)” raises
questions but does not answer the.  Eg. say EMI is causing noise to be
higher than expected; under investigation” or something like that
    - similarly “system reliability (including socket performance
degradation) issue is being investigated” does not make clear you are
seeing issues, as are others using same socket, incl. IJC Lab for ALFE2
and UT Austin for ADC

“A few remaining issues, including socket performance degradation and system reliability, are being investigated. ”

p. 15 – “Flood in IJCLab in 10/24 disabled the robot testing there for
many months, and has delayed comparing performance in the 2 setups”

Done

p. 21 – would be good to give target for PRR; eg. June, as discussed
during LAr Week?

I changed “early summer” to June, in three places in the slides

p. 26 – to save presentation time, I don’t think I will update this
“cartoon schedule”, since it is anyway not very useful and it would
anyway go to backup (you have the more useful info on p. 27)

p. 29 – capitalize “Rank” consistently
   - typo “PPR” should be “PRR”
   - Last bullet about “some risks” is not clear.  Which ones?  (maybe
just delete this bullet?)

Moved to Backup.

p. 30 – maybe add that, according to current working schedule, all work
will be done by 30-Mar-2026

added a last bullet: “Expect to complete the testing in March 2026 according to the current working schedule”
