sPHENIX discussion of the superconducting solenoid

Hi,

Winston has helped create an Elog "sPHENIX-Magnet-High-Field-Test_2018" for us:

It's inside the C-AD firewall, of course :-)   People like Dave Phillips don't really use it.   I imagine that it's
mainly for people like Carl, Zeynep ....  But everybody who have accounts (like me !)  can write.

As of now or this long weekend, the 480 V panel (the source for our power supply) in 912 is locked out by Carl Schultheiss lock and my lock (which I re-obtained yesterday).

--- Strain gauge and linear pot connections are still not done.
--- This morning at 8:30, Mike Lenz came to take measurements for making the box around the current leads and he said that he'll come in a day next week to make the box so that he'll be ready to install on the week of Jan. 2 whenever he's called.
