Commissioning and running of sPHENIX

Hi,

While the group leader told me that you had to get a new card, it now seems that there is a way that you may not need to go to Bldg. 911

at all, if you or somebody can find a no. for your old access card.

If you can find a number for your old pink Access Card for STAR, you should send email with that number to

(i) C-ADTrainingGroup AT bnl.gov so that they can verify that you have got all the training to have an Access Card for sPHENIX,

and then

(ii) accesscontrols AT bnl.gov to ask them to grant you additional access to 1008-IR with your old pink card.

The Access Control Group has just done it recently at least for one sPHENIX/STAR collaborator.

Of course, you can always go to Bldg. 911 (after sending email to C-ADTrainingGroup AT bnl.gov) if you don't find that no. on your old card.  ( I can't hardly read that no. from my many-years-old Access Card.   )  The Access Control Group (in C-AD) will read your old card and figure it out or they can give you a new card anyway.
