************************************************************
Action items
************************************************************
1) Document the procedure and requirements of gluing hybrids onto MS for Plan
A at NTU - Yi
-> RA visited NTU last Friday and stay for about 5 weeks to establish the
procedure and work on prototype assembly. Expect to be ready for operations
in 3 weeks (end of first week or middle of the second week in May)
-> Fixture and jigs will be finished this week, Han-sehng will take them to
NTU, will provide detailed procedure document in 2 weeks

2) Document the procedure and requirements of gluing hybrids onto MS for Plan
B by AIDC. This is needed before new hybrid production - Yi
-> Had a discussion with AIDC 1.5 weeks ago, will provide the drawings for
jigs/fixtures, and document the procedure

3) Document on how/where the company would measure the surface flatness and
being parallel between inner-outer sectors, before and after glueing hybrids
and inner-outer sectors together - Yi
-> will provide a document to the company on measurement requirement. Will
report to the group with the details and quotes

4) Find out how the company would fix the hybrid and measure its flatness and
thickness - Maowu
-> Sent an inner hybrid to company, and requested for details about how they
would fix the hybrid and measure thickness and flatness

5) UIC send a T-board and cable to NCKU to check if there is any conflict
with the MS - Zhenyu
-> Will do once the university is reopen

6) Studying the tracking performance by varying the Z-locations of FST disks,
and number of r/phi segments - Krishan/Daniel
-> changing FST disk Z-location manually is fine, but problems when using xml
file for track resconstruction. Looking into it

************************************************************
Integration - Rahul
************************************************************
New designer Felix started since last week, resolved a few problems
(training, computer). Right now waiting for ITD to give him access to STSG
directory. After that, Felix will take over
-> Action item: adding Felix to FST mailing list - Rahul/Zhenyu

************************************************************
Mechanical structure - Yi
************************************************************
EASTON: new mold will be finished on May 6, and will make 10 or 20 (don’t
remember the exact number) sets of new structures
Ordered 10 pieces of connectors. Will take about 4 weeks to deliver
Finish soft tube testing, will report later.
Radiation tolerance of soft tube: instead of BNL radiative source, may try to
put the soft tubes in STAR for tolerance test. Flemming will ask Robert about
TLDs. Yi will check if there is such facility at Taiwan

************************************************************
Prototype module assembly and test - Xu
************************************************************
Looking into clustering algorithm, see if can improve the matching efficiency

************************************************************
Simulation - Shenghui
************************************************************
Started looking into the Te-Chuan code/document

************************************************************
AOB
************************************************************
Yi: what is the status of the cooling system ?
Rahul: ordered some sealing compound, planned to rebuild the system but then
the lab closed
