Hi Barabra and all,

Thank you for your nice comments, they have been implemented here: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/HP2023.pdf

The slide 19 contains the jet pt ratio plots between pythia8 and 6

Please have a look and give any suggestions for that slide, should I keep it?

Thanks

Tanmay

Hi Tanmay,

thanks for the update, please see my comments below.

- Change the data to your talks' date
- s5: move "ALICE, JHEP 10 .." text up and the ALICE g plot down, so that all the ALICE plots are in one line
- s10: cpT,trk -> pT,trk
- s11: Analysis TL;DR -> Analysis
Try to shorten the text on this slide, e.g.
After calculating the jet observables, embedding simulation used for deconvoluting detector effects by mapping RECO → GEN -> Deconvoluting detector effects by mapping RECO → GEN using embedding simulation
For p D T , LeSub and Girth, said deconvolution achieved using 2D - Iterative bayesian unfolding of -> p D T , LeSub and Girth: 2D - Iterative bayesian unfolding of
Both deconvolution tactics passes closure tests -> Both deconvolution tactics pass closure tests (and you don't need the rest, put details to the backup)
- s13: move PYTHIA-8 conclusion adobe the plot, use bullets (also on other slides)
- s17, 18: use thicker lines for PYTHIA-8 predictions on pTD, LeSub and g plots, same as you have on the r plots.
- s18: Here we discussed that even pure QJ PYTHIA 8 doesn't describe the shape. Have you compared the PYTHIA 6 and PYTHIA 8 pT distributions so that we can fine tune the conclusions ?

Cheers,
Barbara

Hi Nihar, Barbara and Yi,

Thanks for your nice comments. Here is an updated version.

After few rehearsal runs, I decided to cut out most of the finer analysis details, as I was routinely clocking in over 20 minutes with those in.

Thanks,

Tanmay

Hi Tanmay,

Thanks a lot for the nice slides. I have some minor comments for your consideration.
 - p6, p7: Title, Previous measurements from LHC
 - p16, p23: If you don't have enough time, I would move these slides to backup

Cheers,
Yi
