Hi Tanmay
Thanks for the nice slides.
Please find below my comments.
- General: your presentation seems a bit long. Please check your timing, and you can reduce part of your outlook to save some time for discussion of the results.
- Add the STAR logo on your slides.
- s6,7: Previous measurements -> Previous measurements in heavy-ion (or Pb+Pb) collisions
- s8:
Results presented here establishes -> Results presented here establish
Inclusive jet measurements sensitive to soft radiation and fragmentation done
on vaccum jets serve as tools -> Inclusive jet measurements in vacuum sensitive to soft radiation and fragmentation -> serve as tools
I would remove " at RHIC energies" from the last bullet point.
- s10:
and
particle identification. -> and for particle identification
I would remove " after full hadronic correction", it's not clear at this point what you mean.
- s12: add references to the PYTHIA 8 tunes.
- s15: this slide is a bit busy. What about moving definitions of pTD, LeSub and Girth to the slides where the corresponding results are shown
- s16:
zoom in on the y-axis in the ratio plots and increase size of the text. It's enough to show one pT bin, and you can add closure for some other observable. (same slide 23)
I would remove "Coming up after 1 more slide!"
- s17: and added any small variations that arise as -> and treat the variations as
- s18, 19
PYTHIA6 -> PYTHIA-6 (be consistent everywhere)
I would put the two conclusion sentences in the same place, either top or bottom of the slide.
- s20: in real-life (STAR) -> at RHIC energy
- s24: I still don't understand the difference between the last two bullets.
- s27: for
every measurement here -> for all measured observables
- s27: Further tuning of PYTHIA-8 -> Further tuning of PYTHIA-8 Detroit tune
- s30: PYTHIA-8 -> PYTHIA-8 Detroit tune, the second to the last bullet
- s35-36: "Closure test" in the title
- s39: you can remove - it out internal check.
Cheers,
Barbara

Hello Tanmay,
Please find my comments on your nice slides.
Slide2:
You could merge bullet 4 and 5 into one make it "Jet shape observables"
You need to do rehearsal if you can finish all these slides in 20min
talk as there are many outline slides with subbullets.
Otherwise make adjustment as your convenience.
Slide4:
_ For a presentation, Footer is not encouraged as no one can see at the
bottom.
Please place at visible places.
Slide5:
_ You do not say anything about kappa and beta.
_ "Note: g …" Please move as a sub-bullet under 1st bullet
Slide6:
"Previous measurements" -> "Previous measurements in Pb+Pb collisions"
Slide12:
The right event display is for Au+Au collision. It may be a bit
confusing to show where you discuss pp data.
Same comment for footer as before.
Slide13:
What is cp_T,trk ?
"A_jet > 0.3" Make sure this is used correctly in your all plots.
Slide15:
No need to discuss again all the observables; you have done it in slide5
Mention what is IBU?
Slide16:
Can you show closure test of each of these 4 observables for one jet pT
on one slide?
Slide17:
"added any small variations" why only small variation you consider as
sys uncertainty?
"added any variations"
Cheers
Nihar
