Hi All,

As you can see below the Committee might want someone(s) to talk to the milestone table, so please be prepared to do that if need be.

Mike

Thanks!

I see 1-2 years of delay per task.  I'm assuming that's right.

It might be more efficient to post the 5 slides and to go over one or a few of them in detail. I'll leave it to you to decide, depending on the message and the differences between subprojects.

Hi Tom,

We have posted answers and a spreadsheet (on the milestone question) in the Q&A session.

Our plan at the session currently would be that I drive the slides and ask the responders to address the posted answers:

  1. Q1 – just point you to the Excel file
  2. Q2 – Chris could speak to these (5 slides)
  3. Q3 – Gustaaf could speak to that slide
  4. Q4 – I could speak to the subaward management (2 slides) and Hal could speak to the System Engineering/Interface question (2 slides)

Sound ok?

Cheers, Mike

Subject: March 1-2 Director’s Review Homework Questions

Hi Mike-

We have just a handful of questions:

  1. We would like to see a high-level (say Levels 1 and 2) milestone-based  comparison ofthe  original and revised schedules.
  2. We saw graphs of the schedule distributions from Monte Carlo runs; we would like to see similar graphs for cost
  3. We would like to see a table with four columns - original base and contingency and revised base and contingency. Rows should be at the the L2 level of detail.
  4. Please prepare a few slides to address Question K, "Is
  5. the project adhering to best practices in systems engineering, interface management, and subaward management?:

This should not sum up to more than a few slides.

The expectation is that Management, Cost & Schedule will not meet tomorrow, and instead people will join the various technical subcommittees. If this is a problem, let me know and we can adjust.

If you have questions, please email me or call at 331-803-0446.

Cheers,

Tom
