Hi all,

I appreciate all the feedback, and after some minor changes after a few rehearsals, it is coming together.

Barbara–
-s4: this figure comes from a prelim figure that contains a great deal of information from Dave Stewart's studies that don't quite apply to mine, but it is a good visualization of the EA dist., nonetheless. I attempted to re-arrange labels, etc. to make this look more like what you suggest and I have attached that slide as a pdf here. I feel that the >4GeV trigger on this plot could be misleading/confusing since I am discussing the MB dist. and I use a >5.4GeV trigger for my HT requirement. Thus, I have left the slides uploaded to Drupal as they were, but I am open to suggestions/ideas to work around manipulating a PDF.
-s9: Good catch–thank you

Yi–
I happened to spot that sneaky bracket on Wednesday, and I am glad that you noticed in case I had not! Thanks for the close inspection.

The updated slides are at the original link (https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/node/61322).

Thanks,
Veronica

Hi Veronika,

Thanks a lot for the very nice slides. I only have a few very minor comments/suggestions for your consideration.
 - p5: cross-section --> cross section
 - p6: yellow box: you have an extra bracket in the end 30.0 GeV) --> 30.0 GeV

Cheers,
Yi

Hi Veronika,

I have minor comments on your nice slides, and sign off.

- s4: the rectangular boxes look a bit weird. I would suggest to indicate the Low EA and High EA as shaded areas under the histogram.
- s9: the figure misses the "STAR Preliminary" label, system, energy and jet requirements information.

Cheers,
Barbara

Hello Veronica,

Thank you for your reply.
I don't have further comments.

Enjoy DNP2022!
