Hello Gabe,

Thank you for working on some comments and improving your slides.
I have one suggestion on Slide#17,19 figure, where you compare R=0.2 and 0.3, 0.4 results for pp.
You are now using blue band for R=0.2 where you used data points with box in slide15.

Can you please make plotting style the same without changing it to band? You can make it different colour and marker style for R=0.2, 0.3, and 0.4 while comparing. Otherwise, it looks like you can comparing some theory calculation just at a glance.

I am going to push it to startalk. But in the mean time please make your plots consistent.

Best
Nihar

Dear All,

Just wanted to make you aware that I have posted one more version of
my slides to the talk page.
Version 4:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/HardProbes2024_BaryonToMesonInJet_v4.pdf

This version includes a few updates I made today after a practice talk
with my local group. The updates are as follows:

- Slides 10-12: updated phrasing to improve clarity on "the challenge"
that is addressed by pseudo-embedding.
- Slides 17 & 19: Added a blue band representing my p+p R = 0.2 result
to compare against p+p R = 0.3 and p+p R = 0.4. This strengthens my
statement: "No modification observed with increase in Jet R".
- All Results Slides: Corrected a typo in the legend for the p+p
inclusive hadron measurement reference
- Slide 21: Re-worked bullet points in summary for better logical
flow.

Sincerely,

Gabe

Hi Yi,

Thank you for the follow-up comments. I have included the changes in
v3 of my slides:

Please find detailed responses below.

Sincerely,

- Title page: there is an "official" DOE logo for the talk, you can
take a look at others. (Need to add "Supported in part by")

Looked at Diptanil’s presentation for reference. Changed the logo
to the US department of energy office of science, and added
“supported in part by”

- p21: I would suggest to make the plots smaller and bullets larger
in the summary page, but it is completely up to you.

Done.

Hi Yi,

Thank you for your comments on my presentation.
I have implemented all suggested changes in v2 of my slides:

https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/HardProbes2024_BaryonToMesonInJet_v2.pdf

Please find detailed responses below.

- p1: Please add the DOE logo.

Done

- p9: Right plot, in the legend, the style looks the same for
Proton and Kaon

Fixed.

- p10: Should it call "Problem"? Or "Challenge"?

I like this update. Changed to “The Challenge”. When I first
wrote these slides I was thinking of “Problem” as in “math
problem” or “problem set”, but I see now that the word could
be read as carrying a negative connotation.

- p15, 16: Since you won't have new preliminary for 3 GeV results,
these two pages should remove?

I have removed them from the talk

- p12: remove pT > 3.0 GeV (also on p7)

I removed the mention of pTconst > 3 on slide 7, but I can find no
mention of it on slide 12
